About

Hey there,
                          I'm Traysi...

Smiling woman in blue shirt poses outside, nature background, on a mental health website.

I don’t rush insight because when we stop rushing to fix, there’s space to fully feel and to evolve. Together, we listen deeply to your inner world and honor what is needed for your healing. I believe the therapeutic relationship provides a safe container for inner shifts to occur, but ultimately, your mind and body hold the wisdom to heal.

I often work with professionals from diverse cultural backgrounds who grew up with emotionally misattuned parents or unpredictable environments- places where a full range of emotions may not have been given attention or space. Although most parents try their best, this lack of emotional attunement can lead to feeling unseen, untethered, and constantly floundering for someone or something to anchor you. You might now find yourself carrying a deep sense of ‘not enough,' ‘not deserving’, or even 'defective,' often feeling stuck in the same emotional responses that make it hard to feel good about yourself or feel truly connected to others.

Our work together gently unravels old emotional stories and attachment patterns, helping you feel more confident and connected to yourself and the people who matter to you the most.

Outside of sessions, you’ll find me walking my dog, soaking up the sun at the beach, deep in a good book, or having meaningful conversations about life’s messiness with loved ones. I bring my full self to this work, and I care deeply about holding space for yours.

I offer online EMDR and trauma therapy across California for adults healing from attachment wounds and emotional neglect.

EMDR Therapy
(eye movement desensitization reprocessing)

An evidence based protocol that helps people heal from painful or overwhelming experiences with the use of bilateral stimulation (activating left and right hemispheres of the brain). When something distressing happens and your nervous system doesn’t get the chance to fully process it, that experience can get “stuck” in your mind and body. You might know something is in the past, but still feel triggered, anxious, or paralyzed when something reminds you of it. EMDR helps your brain and body reprocess these "stuck" experiences, allowing emotional release, new insight, and lasting healing.

Coherence Therapy

I use this framework to help uncover the subconscious driving forces stored in your limbic system—the part of your brain that holds deep emotional truths. Instead of trying to “fix” or suppress these parts of yourself, we bring them into awareness in a safe, compassionate space, allowing natural and lasting change to occur.

Inner child healing and trauma therapy

Have you ever felt small or powerless, as if you’re a child again? You may be experiencing an emotional flashback. Inner child work offers a new way to respond to yourself in those moments, creating the kind of nurturing and supportive experience you may not have received growing up.

Mindfulness

Throughout our work together, I incorporate mindful tracking of your inner experience—through body sensations, emotions, urges, and images that arise when you take time to pause and listen. This becomes a powerful key to healing.

FAQs

FAQs

Do you take insurance?

I am currently in network with Aetna, UnitedHealthcare(Optum), and Oxford for online therapy clients in California.

If I’m not paneled with your insurance, I can provide a monthly superbill for you to submit for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

Why don't you take most insurances?

While I care deeply about making therapy accessible, there are important considerations that influence a trauma and attachment focused therapist’s decision to limit insurance panels. Like many clinicians, I’ve chosen to keep my caseload smaller to provide the highest quality, attuned care.

If you’re curious to learn more about the common reasons behind this decision, this article offers a thoughtful perspective that closely reflects my own values and approach:

What are your fees?

$180 for a 50-minute online therapy session.

Do you offer a sliding fee?

I do offer a limited number of sliding scale spots based on financial need. If cost is a barrier, I’m happy to talk about current availability.
